The SKE-R Series is a rack-and-pinion actuator available in 16 sizes, offered in both spring-return and double-acting models. This series is the most versatile drive unit for quarter-turn valves such as ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves.SKE-R series uses an extruded aluminum (ASTM 6005) cylinder with a finely ground interior surface, with advanced anti-corrosion treatment applied both internally and externally, giving low cylinder friction, long service life, and strong corrosion resistance. Its core internal mechanical principle is that a pair of symmetrically arranged pistons move synchronously and linearly under air pressure, using the rack on the inside of the pistons to drive the central pinion gear shaft to rotate 90°, producing torque output.
